Usarr

Usarr

The operator roster. One place to manage people, then translate and reconcile those settings into the players you already run.

What it is

Canonical household identities. Usarr pushes creates, updates, and disables into each service that has accounts. Credentials and API-key rotation live here — not in Boxarr.

  • Roster is the source of truth
  • Reconcile is load → pull → diff → apply
  • --dryrun plans; default is execute
  • Remove is deliberate: disable, leave, remove, or forget

What it is not

  • Not Boxarr. No library, no daily, no Docker apply.
  • Not Unboxarr. No Panic, no teardown.
  • Not a media server and not a clone of each user UI.
  • Does not store media paths. Own home: USARR_HOME.
  • Planned as its own paid product so Boxarr never grows a premium identity lock-in.

Reconcile

  1. Load roster
  2. Pull remote users
  3. Diff
  4. Dry-run print
  5. Apply create / update / disable

Adapters

Each adapter only sets what that API can actually express.

Coming soon

Usarr ships as its own release after Boxarr’s first public cut. Spell it Usarr.
